Language and Literacy
We have been working on our fine motor skills. We are making movements using the small muscles in our hands and wrists. All of these tasks are helping us to hold our pencils correctly, draw pictures, write neatly and use scissors and other tools in school that we need for learning.
Phonics
We love learning our jolly sounds. We have actions for each sound and a song! We have been incredibly busy hunting for items with our initial sounds, making our letters in sand, making letters with dough, practising the correct formation of our letters and playing sound games. We think you will be impressed with our work!
Reading
We are beginning to learn some words, the start of the process of reading.
