School Council

The School Council visited Down District Council Offices and had the opportunity to hold a council meeting in their facilities. Cllr Terry Andrew, Cllr Alan Lewis and members of the Board of Governors also attended the meeting.

Inspirational People Project

Children in Year 5-7 researched information about local people and past pupils of Cumran who inspired them.  A local artist, Trudy Burke, helped pupils create a copper tile based on  their ideas.

World Book Day

As part of their preparations for World Book Day, the C2K Newsdesk Team asked our Year 7 pupils to create a short presentation for a live stream programme, to air on the 3rd March. The pupils decided to promote the book Revolting Rhymes by Roald Dahl. Their presentation was filmed in school, (See Yr 7 page) and you can view their contribution by clicking on the link below.

European Day of Languages 2016

We had so much fun celebrating the importance of learning other languages in school today!

The hats that everyone made were amazing.... thank-you for all the hard work and effort.
