Topic Maths: 2D Shape

 

A new term means new topics, and this term we are revising 2D shape properties. Jets investigated lines of symmetry using mirrors, and made helpful discoveries that in some regular shapes, the number of vertices and the number of lines of symmetry are the same. Arrows and Bullets were making 2D shape fact files which included lots of information about different 2D shapes. We also looked at the different types of triangles and made these on geo boards and with geo strips. Can you name the different triangles?
