14/6/21 - WALT: Know the points on the compass. Today we enjoyed going outside where we practised giving each other clockwise and anti-clockwise directions and worked out which direction we were facing.
19/5/21 - WALT: Represent quarters in shapes. We have been learning how to shade 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and find quarters of amounts. We also realised that 2/4 is the same as 1/2.
26/4/21 - WALT: Multiply by 2. Today we did some practical work to help us learn our 2x tables. We realised that multiplying by 2 is the same as doubling and that all of the answers are even numbers!
21/4/21 - WALT: Record data in a bar graph. As part of Big Pedal 2021, we did an “Amazing Air” investigation at our school gates today. We used tally marks to record different types of transport going past the gate and then recorded the information in a bar graph.
12/4/21 - WALT: Understand how numbers are made up of thousands, hundreds, tens and units. Today we worked with our partner to make a range of three and four digit numbers.
