During Term 3, we have been learning about mountains. We found out that there are fold and dome mountains and volcanoes can be mountains too! In Year 6, we have enjoyed learning about the Mournes, which we can see from our classroom. It was really fascinating when we used google earth to explore different mountain ranges such as the Himalayas, Alps, Rockies, Andes, Pyrenees and Karakoram.
We used the internet to research mountains and we worked with our study buddy to complete a mountain factfile using sway. We hope that you enjoy viewing our mountain sways and find out some new interesting facts!
