Forest School ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ - We really enjoy playing outside in the willow dome making our own campfires, climbing trees and building dens!
Friendship Week 2020 - We have had great fun participating in different activities this week as part of Friendship Week 2020. We enjoyed watching an online assembly on Monday and taking part in Odd Socks Day. We tried the toothpaste challenge and learnt that, just like toothpaste comes out easily and is hard to get back in, unkind words can sometimes be said without thinking and can be difficult to take back. We talked about the importance of using kind words and listened to the story of The Rainbow Fish which gave us ideas on how to be a good friend to others. We also read the story of Sammyโs Shoes and did a hot-seating activity where some of us took in the role of Sammy and had to answer questions from the rest of the class. We have learnt a lot about what it means to be a good friend! ๐
We had so much fun learning how to light the fire pit and then toasting marshmallows over it! ๐ฅ๐
We love going outside to develop our fundamental movement skills in PE. Have a look at us practising jumping for height, throwing and catching! ๐
We love being outside at break and lunchtime playing tennis, football and even building our own bird nests! Miss Agnew and Mrs Hamilton are getting better at hula-hooping!๐โ๏ธโฝ๏ธ
