We have been busy learning all about WW2. We have been finding about what life was like being an evacuee, how and why rationing happened, making and testing the strength of Anderson shelters and making gas masks. We also went to the Linen Museum for a WW2 trip.

Why is it important to wear a helmet when you are on your bike?
We have been learning lots about how to stay safe when on your bicycle. We planned, made predictions and carried out an investigation to show how important it is to wear a helmet.

We really enjoy taking part in activity based learning linked to our World Around Us topic. We discussed lots of different stations that we could have in our room to help us learn more about staying safe in a range of situations. Have a look at us working hard in groups.
Activity Based Learning
This half term we are learning all about staying safe. We planned our topic and want to learn about keeping safe in lots of different places and situations. We had a visit from the PSNI to tell us all about Road Safety.
