Year 6 were learning about Mountains in Term 3, this usually involves a visit to the Mournes, so this year we had to do it a bit differently. Due to remote learning, the class were given the activity of visiting the Mournes with their family. You can see some pictures below!
Creative Bike Art
The task involved using household items to create a bike. See how creative Year 6 pupils are.
Titanic Belfast provided a free online link. Year 6 were able to visit the museum from the comfort of their own home. They were able to listen to a wide range of audio clips enabling them to find out about life in Belfast during the early 1900s, the planning, construction and fitting out of the world’s largest ship in 1912, before following Titanic on its Maiden Voyage and fateful night as it sank to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.
