World Book Day 2022 📚💡
Year 5 celebrated World Book Day in style. We loved getting cosy with a good book and our reading pals in our pyjamas and onesies, enjoying some popcorn with our reading and spending time in the reading corner. We shared about our favourite books and our favourite place to read quietly, and of course enjoyed plenty of reading throughout the week. We learnt more about the lives of some of our favourite authors and thought about some questions for the author that we were left with after reading our favourite books.
Catch us looking cosy!
Trip to Greenleaf Forest School
Year 5 wrapped up warm and had a fantastic time at Greenleaf forest school and were up to all sorts, including a spider quiz, bird spotting, making hot chocolate in the Kelly kettle and playing in the mud kitchen! We learnt lots about the wildlife in our area and how to look after them by not disturbing their habitats. Unfortunately we didn’t see the friendly fox that lives there, but maybe next time! 🌳
Pebble Pot
Year 5 filled their Pebble Pot and picked a few fun treat. Well done, you are little stars!
Santa Run
Children In Need
We came in to school wearing bright, colourful clothes. We brought our teddies with us but unfortunately a few had accidents and had bandages and plasters on !
Bike Safety
Year 5 enjoyed learning about the importance of staying safe when riding their bikes. They loved watching all the stunts!
