Year 2 have been busy measuring in non-standard units. They have enjoyed measuring with cubes, counters, pasta, lolly pop sticks and paper clips.
Their favourite activities were listening to the story of Rapunzel and then ordering and measuring Rapunzel’s plaits and making their own play dough snakes and measuring them with cubes.
2D Shapes
We had fun finding 2D shapes in our school environment.
Odd and Even Numbers
Year 2 have enjoyed learning about odd and even numbers through singing songs, playing games and making odd and even houses for our class display.
