SANTA RUN!
All dressed up for the Santa Run. ‘Tis the Season to do a run!’
CHILDREN IN NEED
We had a super bake sale for Children in Need. Lots of children baked goodies that we sold to raise funds for this worthy cause.
Year 6 also tuned into a live link with Joe Wicks to get their exercise completed for the day.
EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES
We celebrated UKRAINE, as Yelisiei in our class is from there. We made Ukrainian pancakes/crepes. They use more savoury fillings, so we tried cheese inside ours, but had the choice of other toppings like sugar, lemon, butter and icing sugar.
It was great fun and we did have a few dodgy pancakes to begin with. They ended up being absolutely delicious! 😃
ELECTION DAY
It was great to see so many of Year 6 try out for the School Council. It was a super run for election and the speeches and posters were very impressive. A big well done to Reuben and Erica! I’m sure the candidates who didn’t make it this time, will try out for some other roles in school. We look forward to having more of you on various teams and councils within school.
BELFAST ZOO WINNING COMPETITION VISIT
Due to a child winning a competition organised by Belfast Zoo, Year 6 won the prize of a visit from them with some of their very special creatures.
