SYNONYMS - We raced against the sand timer to see how many synonyms we could find for certain words.

FAVOURITE BOOK AND CHARACTER

Each child talked about their favourite book and a favourite character from it.

They did a really good job answering questions from others in the classroom.

We discussed what was so good about these characters.
Have a look and see if you can notice a few favourite authors from the children.

NARRATIVE WRITING

Year 6 have been investigating characters in the story of Cinderella. They worked together in groups to categorise what the different characters in the story said and did. There was lots of great discussion.
They also worked together in pairs to write their own categorising frame.
