Miss Dunwoody provides Learning Support for Year 1 - 7 with a core focus on Numeracy and Literacy. The Learning Support groups are fluid as learning progresses and achievements and/or barriers arise. These groups also include time to reflect on how we learn and how we may approach our learning. The pupils are aware of the power of 'YET' when it comes to concepts that may appear tricky...we can rephrase our words and instead of saying 'I can't do this,' we would transform that into 'I can't do this yet!' viewing hurdles and difficulties in a much more positive manner.
