Year 6 are exploring the features of Narrative writing. They will be focusing on characters and settings, enabling them to write their own story. Through Shared Reading activities, the class will be examining how authors describe characters enabling them to write their own creative stories!

Settings
We have been exploring settings, we used a categorising frame to explore what we can see, hear, feel, smell and consider what might happen in the place. We investigated text to identify descriptive phrases used by authors. Next, we were given a setting to describe, can you guess the setting?
