Money
We went on a money trail around school. We had to find cards with coins on them and try at work out the total. Then we had to add 2 amounts of money to find the total.
Place Value
In Year 4 we have been learning about the value of each of the digits in a 3 digit number. We love playing games to help us learn.
Problem Solving
We have been developing our skills in mathematical reasoning this term and love the challenge of a maths problem.
Maths Week
For Maths week we took part in our first ever time table rockstars battle with the classes in key stage 2. We worked really hard and earned lots of points for our class.
We also looked at lots of different maths puzzles, created tangrams and used our maths eyes to look at different arrays.
2D Shape
We have been learning about 2D shapes and their properties. We then sorted our shapes by their properties using venn diagrams and categorising thinking frame.
